Founded in 1885, the Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI) is a private, independent fully-accredited college of art and design. KCAI provides a rigorous, diverse curriculum and an immersive studio experience for students who are passionate about the realization of their ideas. KCAI offers 13 majors: Animation, Art History, Ceramics, Creative Writing, Fiber, Filmmaking, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interactive Arts, Painting, Photography, Printmaking and Sculpture.
